Thoughts: Parkview Café was our very first coffee shop in New Orleans. As such, we have a certain affection for it. While it’s not your typical Nola coffee spot – it’s more a cafeteria in the middle of New Orleans’ largest park – and it’s probably not for everyone, we find ourselves back here on days we really need to get stuff done. The coffee (and coffee condiment bar) does the trick, the wifi is good and you can always get a seat at one of their many small tables. You can even sit outside or take a walk around the park if you’re so inspired. While periodic rushes of hungry park visitors can make the place noisy, Parkview Café is a great and under-the-radar spot to catch some internet and be productive.
